MCM Race Team report 1- Course Amicale - Lille (France)

Last weekend our 2 teampilots François Lagniau and Nic Segers were in Lille (France) for the "Course Amicale" event.
The track was covered in medium grip carpet and equipped with some fast corners and beautiful jumps. After a few warming up laps our pilots were involved in the qualification rounds. There were 4 of these rounds, followed by 3 finales. François chose to start with the Mini Pin1 tyres in the rear and Wide Staggers up front. Nic also chose the Mini Pin1 tyres in the rear but chose for Mini Pin Slim tyres up front. Their qualification rounds went quite well in general, however they still chose to drive carefully to avoid crashes. François started in the 9th position, right in front of Nick in the A-finale.
After a bad start in the 1st finale François lost 2 positions and ended up 11th, however he still managed to gain 4 positions and finished 7th. Meanwhile Nic managed to gain 6 positions and he ended up 4th.
Before they started of the other finales our pilots decided it was time to change things slightly, because the skill level was raising and it was getting harder and faster.
For the 2nd finale François tweaked his machine and changed the front tyres. He decided to go with the Mini Pin1's up front. Our teampilots' laptimes were a lot better however because of the increased speed they made more mistakes. In this second finale Francois finished 11th. To prepare himself for the 2nd finale Nic chose to use the new "Darts" tyres from Schumacher, those were perfect for him, as it was ideal for the track and fitted his driving style well.
The 3rd finale was an exact copy of the 2nd one. Finally François ended up 10th and Nic 8th.
Both pilots had a great experience driving their TLR 22-4 2.0.
