1.WARRANTY REQUEST

How does the guarantee work?

1/ Duration of the guarantee

Our products are usually guaranteed for at least 1 year, except :

  • Replacement of consumables, wearing parts: tyres, launchers, transmission parts (crowns, pinions, cardan shafts), etc.
  • Poor product maintenance (poor lubrication, corrosion, exposure to water from non-waterproof products, dirty product).
  • Damage specifically mentioned in the product data sheets.
  • Defects and their consequences due to intervention by the purchaser or a repairer (dismantling of electric or combustion engine, variator, remote control, charger, etc.).
  • Consequences of improper use of the product.
  • For batteries and speed controllers, any modification to the connectors may invalidate the warranty with certain manufacturers (Traxxas, HPI, Losi, etc.).
  • In the case of LiPo, LiOn and LiFe batteries, any misuse will invalidate the warranty (excessive discharge, incorrect charging, failure to observe storage rules, etc.).

2/ Warranty claim

Send us an e-mail, using our contact form, describing the problem you are experiencing and the circumstances in which it occurred.
All the information that best illustrates your problem is useful: precise description, photos, video, etc.

2. AFTER-SALES SERVICE

How does the after-sales service work?

1/ 10 spaces

10 spaces for (clean) vehicles to be repaired by us, for a fixed fee of €30 for the estimate. We reserve the right to refuse a repair request without having to justify ourselves.

2/ Costs

If the customer agrees to the estimate, payment for parts to be replaced and labour, the cost of labour will be calculated as follows:

  • 60.00 per hour if the vehicle has been purchased from us
  • 80.00 per hour otherwise.

Vehicle batteries must be charged when they arrive. If they are not, a charge of €5 will be levied.

Vehicles must be cleaned before being dropped off. They will be refused if this is not the case.

The manual and all useful information concerning the vehicle must be sent to us. We need the batteries, the remote control and generally all the parts necessary for the operation of the vehicle.

3/ Lead times

Minimum lead time: 15 days.

Once the work has been completed, customers are notified and given 60 days to collect their vehicle. After this period, the customer forfeits all recovery rights. Customers have the option of paying for transport to have the vehicle sent to them.

Repairs must be handed in at the shop counter.

3. OTHER CASES

Is there an error in your order?

  1. Use our contact form to send us photographs of the product concerned, highlighting the problem found, and of the parcel received.
  2. Describe the condition of the parcel: was it damaged, open or taped up by the carrier?
  3. Please also send us any references that you can find on the product or its packaging.

4. EXERCISING THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Internet sales with delivery: right of withdrawal and returns possible.

Counter sales: no item can be returned or exchanged.

Please note

  • You have 15 days from the date of receipt to return the product(s).
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • You are responsible for packaging and delivery of the return package.
  • Any returned product that does not meet the criteria set out here will not be accepted.
  • Gift vouchers are not refundable.

Right of withdrawal

Counter sales: no item can be returned or exchanged.

The time of retractation of the Purchaser is brought, by mcmracing.com, to 15 days.

The products must imperatively be turned over to mcmracing.com in a perfect state of resale, in their state of origin, with no trace of use and accompanied by the invoice or the co-ordinates of the Purchaser and the complete references of the order.

Batteries that have already been charged and vehicles that have been used (even for 5 minutes) cannot be taken back.

Similarly, if the product includes a guarantee sheet or any other document to be completed, this must not be filled in for the Buyer to be able to exercise his/her right of withdrawal.

Any product that is incomplete, damaged or whose original packaging has been damaged in such a way as to affect the normal marketing of the product will not be reimbursed.

Responsibility

The products offered by mcmracing.com comply with current Belgian legislation.

mcmracing.com could not be held for person in charge for the inexecution of the contract in the event of stock shortage or unavailability of the product, of cause beyond control, disturbance or all-out strike or partial in particular of the postal services and means of transport and/or communications.

mcmracing.com could not be held for person in charge for all indirect damage which could occur because of the purchase of the products.

The total or partial inability to use the products, due in particular to incompatibility of equipment can not engage the responsibility of mcmracing.com nor give rise to any compensation or refund.
