Mini Slash 4X4 is engineered to a higher standard with 1/10 scale 4WD driveline components. Large steel- gear differentials, beefy 32-pitch gears, and heavy-duty U-joint driveshafts far exceed requirements for strength and long life.

New Extended Mini Chassis

Mini Slash 4X4 builds upon the radical strength of Mini Maxx’s ultra-rigid, unified chassis and extends the wheelbase to 235 mm. The added 15 mm of chassis length provides a longer, more stable footprint, better high-speed stability, and a true-to-scale driving experience.

Clipless Body

Mini Slash 4X4's clipless short course body is rock solid and easy to use. Just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the nerf bars and lift to access the chassis in just seconds. Nothing else is faster or more secure.

Mini Slash 4X4 wears all-new replica BFGoodrich^® Mud-Terrain™ TA^® KM3 tires for exceptional multi-terrain traction. Licensed BFGoodrich Tires
BFGoodrich® Mud Terrain™ T/A® KM3 are molded in a new rubber compound that perfectly balances grip with wear resistance. Internal reinforcing ribs eliminate conventional tire foams that can absorb water and upset tire balance.

Chassis Nerf bars
Banging fenders is just part of racing so Mini Slash 4X4 comes equipped with tough nerf bars to protect the chassis from side impacts at the track or in the backyard. The nerf bars also incorporate rugged body mounts and lower body protectors to lock everything firmly in place.

Molded Body Reinforcements
Mini Slash 4X4's reinforced inner cage attaches to the roof with tough roof skids. The rugged skids keep the body looking fresh in case of rollovers and distribute impact forces over a wide area to prevent pull-through damage.

Rugged Bumpers
Rugged impact-absorbing bumpers protect the chassis in the front and rear. An extra-wide front bumper conforms to the body to provide full frontal protection with a high approach angle to clear obstacles with ease. The rear bumper also accommodates the optional wheelie bar.

1/10 Scale Ultra Shocks
Mini Slash 4X4's oil-filled Ultra Shocks feature the same technology and construction of Traxxas' 1/10 scale shocks for smooth, consistent damping. The Ultra Shocks' large oil capacity and rugged design soak up big jumps and offroad abuse for precision handling and performance.

Fixed Gear Mesh System
A fixed gear mesh system takes the guesswork out of setting your gear mesh with multiple preset gearing positions. Insert the motor screw through the desired gearing position for a perfect gear mesh every time. The fixed positioning also keeps the gear mesh tight, even after the harshest impacts.

Modular Chassis
The modular chassis features front and rear bulkheads that remove easily with just a few screws. In less than a minute using a power screwdriver, you'll have full access for easy service and adjustment.

Battery Compartment
A deep battery compartment shields the battery from impacts inside the reinforced chassis. The modular hold down features a removeable spacer for tall batteries and firmly secures them in place for fast and easy battery swaps.

Dual Bellcranks with Servo Saver
Mini Slash 4X4's full-size 2056 steering servo uses dual bellcranks for zero bump steer geometry and smooth turning action in the harshest conditions. Oversize components and double-shear connections make Mini Slash unbelievably tough A heavy-duty, cam-operated servo saver guarantees precise steering response with added protection against impacts.

Tough Suspension Arms
Double wishbone suspension arms maintain proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of travel. They're modeled after Maxx Slash with double-shear connections and extra material in critical areas for maximum strength and durability.

Hex Hardware
Hex-drive hardware provides a more positive and secure connection than other fasteners. The black-oxide coating provides a rust resistant high-tech look and feel.

Tough Interlocking Skid Plates
Tough interlocking skid plates fit tightly into the Mini Slash 4X4 chassis to create a smooth snag-free undertray. The skid plates save wear and tear on the chassis and they're easy to replace.

Sealed Bearings
Large, sealed bearings are utilized throughout the Mini Slash 4X4 driveline to keep out the grime and grit. Less downtime for cleaning and maintaining bearings means more run time—and more fun.

32-Pitch Gears
Stripped gears mean a trip to the workbench, but Mini Slash 4X4 eliminates this problem with huge 32-pitch gears. Normally found in much larger 4X4 vehicles, 32-pitch gears deliver total reliability no matter how much power you pour on.

Direct-Drive Transmission
Mini Slash 4X4 relies on a direct-drive transmission for instant throttle response and maximum power delivery. Huge 32-pitch gears and a fixed gear mesh make it possible for Mini Slash 4X4 to run this ultra-responsive setup. For greater tuning control, use the optional center differential (sold separately) in place of the standard spur gear.

Extreme-Duty Driveshafts
Fortified for hard launches and big brushless horsepower, the driveshafts used in Mini Slash 4X4 are 50% larger than standard 1/16 scale driveshafts. The oversized half shafts are built to handle brushless power and offer huge articulation and suspension travel.

1/10 Scale Planetary Differentials
Mini Slash 4X4's differentials are nearly twice the size of standard 1/16 scale differentials for bombproof durability. Silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow you to tune the amount of locking action by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside the differentials.

BL-2s Brushless Power System
The waterproof BL-2s electronic speed control packs powerful features like three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, patented Training Mode™, and Thermal-Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating. The sensorless BL-2s 3300 Kv motor with integrated cooling fan delivers strong brushless performance with nearly zero maintenance.

3-Channel Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
In the event of signal loss due to an accidental transmitter switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver automatically returns the throttle to neutral and holds the last commanded steering position. The fail-safe programming is conveniently built-in and does not need to be activated.

Heavy Duty Suspension Components
