Maximum Steering Authority

With a staggering 650 ounce-inches of torque and full steel gears, the High Torque Maxx Servo gives Maxx Ultimate complete steering authority, even with its huge Sledgehammer tires. The case features an anodized aluminum center section with cooling fins and ball bearings for increased precision.

TQi Transmitter with Wireless Module

With 60+ mph of 4s power on tap, Maxx Ultimate needs maximum precision and control. Maxx Ultimate's factory-installed Wireless Module adds powerful TQi tuning and telemetry tools on your mobile device. Use the free Traxxas Link app to control steering and throttle sensitivity; steering percentage; braking strength; and throttle trim by simply touching and dragging the sliders on the high-definition graphic interface.

Integrated Wheelie Bar

Maxx Ultimate's wheelie bar helps prevent backflips under full-throttle acceleration and flexes to absorb impacts on less-than-perfect landings. The aluminum wheelie bar wheels add brilliant eye-catching style to the already outrageous Maxx Ultimate. Outfitted with aluminum axles and sealed ballbearings, the wheels feature durable soft-compound tires to help direct Maxx's brutal horsepower.

6061-T6 aluminum stub axle hub carriers add both strength and beauty to Maxx Ultimate without compromising its carefully tuned suspension geometry.

Splined Aluminum Wheel Hubs

Aluminum 17 mm wheel hubs combine high-profile looks with superior strength. The splined design locks tightly into the Maxx wheels for precise alignment and unsurpassed grip. Matching aluminum wheel nuts stay snug on the wheel no matter how intense the action gets.

Aluminum Caster and Steering Blocks

Maxx Ultimate's caster and steering blocks combine the brute strength of 6061-T6 aluminum with carefully engineered steering and suspension geometry. The brilliant, anodized finish adds high-tech style with laser-etched logos to show off your genuine Traxxas performance parts.

GT-Maxx Aluminum Shocks

Maxx Ultimate adds ultra-smooth TiN-coated shafts, color-matched aluminum shock caps, and threaded adjustment rings to its aluminum GT-Maxx shocks. These large-bore shocks provide ultra-plush damping over rough terrain with double X-ring seals to keep out dirt. The machined aluminum bodies are threaded to adjust ride height with captured lower spring retainers that won't pop off, even on the harshest landings.

Steel CV Driveshafts

Steel constant-velocity driveshafts offer the ultimate in torque handling and efficient power transfer for Maxx Ultimate's massive 540XL motor. Heavy-duty steel drive cups allow full articulation and hold the press-fit dogbones securely in channels.

Shock-Absorbing Cush Drive

Traxxas' innovative Cush Drive™ uses a special elastomer damper to absorb driveline shocks from the upgraded steel spur gear for superior reliability. There is nothing to slip or adjust, just instant acceleration and precise throttle control.

Aluminum Transmission Cover

The aluminum transmission cover is color-matched to the truck with a laser-etched logo for extra style. Milled from 6061-T6 aluminum, the cover locks onto the chassis tightly to keep the Cush Drive in perfect alignment.

Torque-Biasing Center Drive

The Torque-Biasing Center Drive absorbs shocks to improve driveline durability and distributes power to all four wheels for mind-bending four-wheel drive acceleration. Unique to Maxx Ultimate, an aluminum housing adds structural rigidity and helps dissipate heat.

Aluminum Motor Cradle

Maxx Ultimate is built for all-day action with an aluminum motor cradle to support the 540XL motor and eliminate gear-crunching flex. The motor cradle machined from tough 6061-T6 aluminum for unbeatable toughness with a brilliant anodized finish.

Ultra High-Torque Metal Gear Servo

Maxx Ultimate features Traxxas most powerful servo to turn its massive Sledgehammer tires with authority. With 650 oz-in of torque on tap and large metal gears, the 2085RL steering servo has endless power on tap for extreme driving on any surface. An aluminum double-shear servo horn eliminates flex for fast, responsive steering at high speeds.

Aluminum Chassis Brace

Made from tough 6061-T6 aluminum and brilliantly anodized in high-impact color, the aluminum front chassis brace provides additional structural reinforcement for high loads and hard landings. Whether you're sending it at the skate park, or launching from a ramp, the heavy-duty chassis brace is built for extreme punishment.

Precision Steering

Machined from tough 6061-T6 aluminum, Maxx Ultimate's ultra-rigid bellcrank assembly drastically enhances steering precision and strength. Tight tolerances and a servo saver bushing allow the bellcranks to pivot smoothly on sealed ball bearings with a heavy-duty servo saver spring for added protection.

Tubes Toe Links

Adjustable TUBES toe links make it easy to dial-in the perfect settings for greater precision and control. TUBES are lighter than steel and stronger than titanium with a unique hollow tube design which maximizes rigidity while reducing weight. Made from ultra-high-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, TUBES feature a brilliant, anodized finish for extra style.

Aluminum suspension pin retainers are carefully machined from tough 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized in bright, eye-catching color.

  Traxxas recommends a 4-cell 14.8 volt Power Cell LiPo battery for maximum performance. A 3-cell 11.1 V LiPo battery will operate the vehicle with reduced performance. NiMH batteries are not supported.
