A BEC or uBEC module allows to feed the receiver by an NiMH or LiPo battery by regulating the voltage. Its necessary mostly by models who are using more servos than the integrated BEC of brushless motor kan feed. It allows to feed a fuel model by a LiPo battery. A failsafe model allows to positionate in a fixed position in case of a signalloss from the remote. Its useful to cut the motor when this is not integrated in the remote.
