Stampede’s legendary ruggedness has made its name synonymous with off-road fun. With a top speed of 30+ mph* and drive-over-anything ground clearance, Stampede rips through grass and powers over curbs. Pour on the throttle and the Titan® motor’s massive torque raises the front wheels skyward for dirt-roosting wheelies and high-power jumps. Mud, puddles, and snow don’t stand a chance against this high-octane monster truck thanks to Traxxas’ waterproof electronics. The advanced Talon tire tread pattern provides excellent traction on almost any surface. The soft compound rubber hooks up for maximum acceleration and great grip on dirt, grass, pavement, and rocks.
The mirror-chrome All-Star™ wheels feature a lightweight horizontal bead that holds the tire to the rim even under extreme rpm. Performance-designed foam inserts are standard and all tires come pre-glued from the factory to get you rolling right out of the box.
Stampede reaches its blistering 30+ mph top speed on-road using the optional 21-tooth pinion gear (included) and the 7-cell 8.4 V battery pack. Out of the box, the installed 16-tooth pinion gear is just right for all-around, wheelie-popping, off-road action.
Stampede's fully trimmed and painted ProGraphix bodies turn heads everywhere they go with an aggressive look and bold paint designs. Decals come pre-applied to save you time and get you driving just minutes out of the box. Traxxas' ProGraphix bodies are the hottest looking bodies around and are only available on Traxxas Ready-to-Race® models.
The Torque-Control slipper clutch uses special semi-metallic friction pads and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement you can count on, run after run. Spur gears remove and replace easily without altering the slipper adjustment.
Stampede's telescoping slider driveshafts are extremely durable and allow greater articulation for increased suspension travel.
Stampede's oil-filled Ultra Shocks utilize X-ring technology for a perfect seal and silky-smooth performance. They are easy to customize with a wide range of high-performance oils, springs, and pistons available. Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to change precisely the ride height and spring pre-load tension. If their performance ever fades, refresh them in minutes with our inexpensive rebuild kits.
Stampede's springs feature a new spring rate for more responsive handling and the long-lasting white powder coated finish sets it apart from the pack.
The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. The molded motor plate includes finned cooling channels where the motor mounts to the motor plate. The cooling channels work in conjunction with the internal Titan 12T motor fan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.
Stampede's Magnum 272 transmission features metal gears riding on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings. Combined with the smooth 48-pitch gears, power transfers quietly to the durable telescoping U-joint driveshafts. The sealed gearbox protects the transmission components from dirt and rocks. Best of all, the Magnum 272 is built Traxxas Tough™ to handle massive brushless power without the need for costly upgrades
The planetary gear differential uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing. This type of differential requires virtually no maintenance and its efficient design puts maximum tire-shredding power to the wheels.
